In a future world ravaged by global wars, one threat alone stood greater than the rest … invasion from outer space. Leaders of all nations gathered to form a United Earth Government, so as to defend themselves.
Many years ago a strange craft crash landed on earth and all the evidence suggested that the beings piloting it were from a civilization light years ahead of Earth's. A team of the world's most brilliant minds were brought together to restore the alien space fortress using documents found on board to decipher the complex technology called on ROBOTECH. Finally, crewed by graduates of the Robotech academy, the giant space fortress was ready to take off and assume its role as defender of the earth.
