In an effort to
add racial diversity to the show, original characters Black Vulcan,
the Samurai, and Apache Chief were created specifically for the
show. 25 years later, Justice League comic writer Joe Kelly, a fan
of the show, brought the character of Apache Chief to the comic
book world.
Dick Ryal gave Captain
Cold a quavering voice in the first episode, evidently to suggest
that he was, in fact, cold. He dropped this affectation in subsequent
episodes.
In "Trial of the Super
Friends", Black Manta and Bizarro are in two places at once.
They appear at the trial in the Hall of Doom, while at the same
time, they're at the government base stealing the "liquid light".
In "Trial of the Super
Friends", immediately after Batman and Robin retrieve their
utility belts from the androids that had been impersonating them,
Batman is shown with his chest insignia's colors reversed. It's
shown as a yellow bat on a black oval, when it should be a black
bat on a yellow oval.
